This policy explains what information is available on the WHOIS lookup service. It also explains the rules for acceptable use of this service.

Summary

Our WHOIS service publishes information about .ie domain registrations, including –

  • Registration and renewal dates.
  • The name of the Registrar managing the domain.
  • The Registrar’s contact email address to report abuse.
  • DNS records.

We only publish the domain holder name if the domain is registered to a company. We do not publish any contact information for the administrative or technical contacts.
