John O’Beirne has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, dedicating his working life to financial inclusion, across all aspects of banking, mortgages, and payments. John’s expertise spans areas such as digital transformation, market entry strategy, business leadership and innovation.

His previous roles as Director of Business Banking for Bank of Ireland Group, and current commitments as a Director of Dublin Chamber and Chair of the Labour Taskforce are underpinned by a commitment to help businesses grow sustainably.

More recently, in his role at Square, John helps ensure that technology and particularly digitalisation can provide growth opportunities to European and Irish businesses of all sizes, so that business owners and managers never miss a sale.
