Domain Pricing 2024

The national registry for .ie domain names has experienced significant increases in registry operating costs over the last two years, particularly in regulatory, compliance and policy development costs.

As a result, with effect from 1 September 2024, the wholesale price of .ie domains will increase by €2 per annum for domain renewals.  This price increase was announced to the Registrar channel on 31 May 2024, giving our Registrar customers three months’ notice.

Please note that the registry does not sell directly to members of the public. All registrations and renewals of .ie domain names are managed by accredited registrars (here)
